Marine Fabricator/Welder Position Closed

Mount Marine Engineering is searching for a Marine Fabricator/Welder to contribute to our growing team. You will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of diverse marine products, from bait stations and rails to yacht arches and superyacht components. This role requires a high attention to detail, expert welding skills a commitment to quality craftsmanship and a can do attitude.

Responsibilities:

- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare, cut, shape, and bend metal sections and pipes.
- Hydraulic Section Rolling & Tube bending
- Fabricate various marine products (bait stations, rails, arches, etc.).
- Weld parts with precision using MIG and TIG techniques.
- Metal Polishing and detailing.
- General Engineering.
- Machining.
- Jig work.
- Install fabricated products or deliver as needed.
- Follow all health & safety regulations.
- Operate all machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Understand and interpret product schematics and assembly instructions.
- Verify dimensions and product specifications meticulously.
- Maintain strict quality control standards and efficient production schedules.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Select appropriate equipment and methods based on project requirements.

Qualifications:

- Trade qualification preferred.
- Prior experience in the marine industry highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with stainless steel and aluminium essential.
- Expert MIG and TIG welding skills essential with welding tickets.
- Ability to meticulously interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
